1.La Barceloneta
The most famous beach in Barcelona is, undoubtedly, la Barceloneta beach, which is about 1,100 m long. This beach is one of the most traditional, oldest and biggest beaches in Barcelona. It has a great location close to the metro and a great bunch of bus lines. Among the facilities you can find on this beach, there are several beach bars, showers, toiles, fountains, children's playground, volleyball court, gym area, table tennis and library service. 2.Bogatell
With circa 600m long, Bogatell beach is one of the Barcelona beaches revitalized in occasion of the Barcelona Olympics 1992 during the 90s. It is highly appreciated because it is one of the safest beaches in Barcelona. The facilities you can find on this great beach are toilets, fountains, showers, table tennis, a volleyball court and a bar. How to get there? 3.Mar Bella
Mar Bella beach, located to the east of the coast of Barcelona, is one of the beaches created after the urban redevelopment of the coast on occasion of the Olympic Games in Barcelona 1992 and it is about 500 m long. It is easy to get to this Barcelona beach by bicycle and you can have a ride along it, since it has bike lanes. On this beach you will find showers, toilets, fountains, playground, skateboard area, basketball court and table tennis. How to get there? 4.Nova Mar Bella
As you might guess, Nova Mar Bella beach is next to the Mar Bella and it was created at the same time, on occasion of the Olympics Barcelona 92. It is about 500m long and the favorite Barcelona beach for women with over 60% of female users. Its main feature is the fact that is a very quiet beach and users usually go there every week. Besides, it is provided with area for disabled people. Other facilities you can find on this each are toilets, fountains and showers. How to get there? Finally, I'd like to talk about Nova Icaria beach which is located in the center of Barcelona coastline and is about 400m long.
